How To Get Rid of Acne Scars

So I had a pimple a really long time ago, and I must have popped it or something and it turned into a small scar. But every once in a while it still turns back into a pimple, and when it goes away (I DON’T pop it again) its back to the scar!
This has been happening for a really long time. How do I get rid of it, the pimple AND scar, FOR GOOD? Please help!
