okay so, i have these dark, red marks on my face from previous acne, and im going in to get them lasered off in august.
but sometimes if my skin is too dry, the skin around it begins to flake and the red spot begins to get larger, is this normal ?

Yeah but people usually spend that much on anti-wrinkle cream and lotions and such. And if you do have bad scarring, I think this would be worth it. It costs just a little more than a nintendo wii and everyone has a wii.
